Dick Chiasson is congratulated by club members attending the Porschefest at The Museum of Transportation after his cross country trek on The Lincoln Highway Historic Drive in his 356. Dick told the crowd that during the two week journey from Times Square to San Francisco, that he ate every lunch and dinner at a different rib joint, and only gained three pounds. His car however gained twenty seven, and is now on a strict diet.

Tom Coughlin shares his German sausage lunch with fellow club member Erling Falck. What Erling didn't realize at the time, was that Dick Chiasson had actually packed that sandwich in his car prior to driving to San Francisco three weeks earlier.
