"The Typ356ne Club celebrated the 8th annual "Founders Day Drive" planned by Bill Sooter. We went for a beautiful drive through the towns of Dartmouth, South Darmouth, Westport, Tiverton R.I and Little Compton. Bill planned a excellent drive through great back roads with beautiful scenery. We had a very large turnout with 20 cars and 39 people who attended this event. We then had a excellent catered lunch at Westport Rivers Winery. The food was very good and plenty of it. Bob DiCorpo gave a talk about upcoming events for the club. Also Gary Resnick (1st Typ356ne club President) then spoke about how the club has grown over the years. In addition the Corvair club was also having their event at the Westport Winery so both clubs checked out each others car.
